245 N. Water, Wichita, KS 67202

Learn proven grant writing techniques from this five-day course conducted by The Grantsmanship Centerthe world's oldest and largest grantsmanship training organization for nonprofits.

United Way of the Plains is bringing this training to Wichita as part of its effort to impact critical human needs and assist the nonprofit sector in building a better community for everyone.

Course Content

The Grantsmanship Training Program is an intensive, "hands-on" workshop covering all aspects of locating and researching funding sources and writing grant proposals.

During the workshop, participants will learn the Center's proposal writing format, the most widely recognized such format in the world. They will team up with classmates to prepare and write a proposal; they will also investigate funding sources for their organizations using a wealth of onsite materials.

Participants' current needs and programs are the basis of all class research and proposal writing exercises. The program is designed to accommodate the needs of both novice and advanced grant seekers.

The Grantsmanship Center also offers support services (proposal review and critiques) to all training program graduates.
